Welcome to the website of the Glasgow Members' Centre of the National Trust for Scotland. The Centre was formed to stimulate interest in the National Trust for Scotland and to add value to membership of the Trust in the greater Glasgow area. Members of the National Trust for Scotland or the National Trust (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) are eligible for membership for a small annual fee.

Note change of venue: all 2018 - 2019 meetings will be held in the Quaker Meeting House which is located at 38 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow, G2 4PS.

Elmbank Crescent runs off Elmbank Street between Bath Street and St. Vincent Street. The Quaker Meeting House is 70 yards from Charing Cross Station and 100 yards from the King's Theatre. The meeting room is on the 1st floor and is served by a lift.

The Centre enjoys a varied programme of indoor and outdoor activities throughout the year. These include :-

In addition to the social aspects Members' Centres provide a very valuable contribution to the Trust's work by giving financial and practical support. Some of our Members currently work as guides at the Tenement House, help during Trust events within the Glasgow area, or give talks locally to raise the profile of the Trust. Such work is entirely voluntary and there is no requirement for Members' Centre members to become involved in such areas.

If you live within reach of Glasgow we invite you to join the Centre and share in our programme. The current annual fee is £10 for individual membership or £14 for family membership. The latter includes two adults and all children under 18 living at one address. An application form may be obtained by following this link. Casual visitors are welcome at our evening and afternoon meetings for a donation of £2 (though we would prefer you to join us!). Follow our links for more details and related sites.
